Our private GPs are highly experienced and offer help and support for all your medical needs. We aim to address your needs in a personalised and professional manner, ensuring the care you receive is always second to none.
We always take the time needed to address the root causes of your symptoms in a bespoke manner.
We plan all follow-ups to support you all the way to recovery.
Our private GP appointments are 30 minutes in length to allow sufficient time to discuss your medical problems and provide thorough assessments, with the option to add 15 minute increments if required. We also offer video and telephone appointments.
We cover Esher, Oxshott, Cobham, Weybridge, Surbiton, Kingston, Southwest London and most of Surrey.
Booking an appointment
Appointments can be booked online via our website, our Google business page or by calling us.
Members please contact us directly for appointment bookings.
You will be sent a pre-appointment questionnaire at the point of booking your appointment.
This helps us gather the necessary information regarding your medical problem, relevant medical history and medications which will allow us to offer you a more fluid service.
This is especially important if booking a telephone or video appointment so we can assess the suitability of the medical problem for a remote consultation.
Our Pricing
We believe in simple, fair pricing for high quality medical care. We avoid complex pricing and will never impose hidden charges and aim to see you within 2 working days of your request for an appointment. Payments for services offered are taken at the point of booking. Additional services can be taken by card or cash payment at the end of the appointment. Corporate patients and businesses can pay via invoicing if previously agreed.
What is included in the appointment cost?
All necessary referral letters and Fit Notes and prescriptions costs (medicine and dispensing costs payable to pharmacy) are included in price of our consultations. We work with a network of the highly renowned consultants as well as with therapists locally. The cost of blood, urine and other lab tests are charged separately but at competitive prices for our patients. Tests are taken during our GP consultations and do not incur an extra charge unless the appointment time is extended.
We also offer a home phlebotomy service if preferred, at an extra cost. We will always inform you of costs prior to proceeding with any tests.
Radiology tests are arranged though our network of local providers and costs of test are payable directly to the provider. We offer a range of diagnostic and interventional ultrasound scans at our clinic also.
If you are not able to attend our practice or would prefer to see a doctors at home, your office or hotel, we offer a home visiting service covering our local area for the set cost.
Your membership plan may also include home visiting.
We can also cover extended areas in Surrey, West Sussex and South West London and will be happy to give you a price based on your location. The price included referral letters, Fit Notes and prescriptions.
We can take blood tests at no extra charge during the home visit or, other than the cost of the tests which we will always discuss with you prior to proceeding.
We also offer a home phlebotomy service at a time that suits you if preferred.
GP appointment prices can vary depending on the length of appointments and wearing the country you are. Other factors such as continuity of care and the see neurology of the doctors you see will have a bearing on the overall cost. Our appointments are outlined in our prices table on our private GP consultations page.
We offer a transparent and easy to access service for all. You can book appointments online, on the phone or by contacting us via email or via the contact portal on our website. Payment for appointments is usually processed at the point of booking. Our membership service also offers those wishing to have a more long-term this private GP service to do so at a reduced cost with additional benefits.
Private GP services usually offer quicker appointment booking times and longer appointments with the option of having these face-to-face, remote or at your home or workplace. Our patients usually cite the longer appointment times and the continuity of care as major factors in choosing to have private GP care.
There are advantages and disadvantages. All of our GP is also work in the NHS and are appreciative of the challenges NHS GP's face. This the advantages of private GP are ease of access to appointments, length of appointments, continuity of care in seeing the same GP and faster referrals. The disadvantages are the cost of repeat medications as we cannot put these on NHS prescriptions for you but in many instances your NHS GP may agree to take over the prescribing.
Some insurance policies may give you an allowance to be spent on private GP appointments annually. However, the majority of UK insurance providers do not cover GP appointments. Many insurance companies offer a remote private GP service but the services are typically limited in what they can assess and treat and the prescriptions they can provide. Often patients would be sign posted to see either their NHS GP or a private GP in person.
If you are visiting the UK and have trouble insurance, these companies often do cover private GP fees. We would recommend you always check with your insurer prior to making a booking.
In most cases yes, the length of appointments are longer and you can often choose to see the GP of your choice. There are instances where our face-to-face clinical capabilities may be limited but we would always strive to offer you either a remote appointment or home visit in these instances.
We are not bound by catchment areas or geographic limitations so you are free to see any GP you wish at any practice that suits you. We highly recommend you stay registered with an NHS GP in case you experience urgent medical problems which we may not be able to attend to.
NHS records are treated with a high level of sensitivity and cybersecurity. Consequently, no private providers would be allowed to access your records. However, you can request a copy of your records from your NHS GP and you should be able to view your prospective records via the NHS app.
Yes. We are able to provide you with both written and electronic prescriptions which can be fulfilled in any pharmacy. We are unable to provide NHS prescriptions which means that the pharmacy will charge you the price of the actual medicine prescribed. Often this works out around the same as the NHS prescription charge but will be more for expensive drugs. Your NHS GP may agree to take over the prescribing of a medication in these instances.
